Institute for Family Medicine receives community service award

The Institute for Family Medicine was awarded the 2012 Community Service Award by the Lemay Chamber of Commerce at an awards dinner Wednesday, Oct. 10. Institute for Family Medicine CEO, Dr. David Campbell, received the award on behalf of the organization’s staff and board members, many of whom attended the dinner.

The 35th annual awards dinner recognized Lemay businesses that improved the community’s image over the past year, as well as individuals who went above and beyond for the community. The Institute for Family Medicine was recognized for its Hancock Place School District health clinic, which was established not only for the students, but also to provide convenient, cost-effective medical care for all residents of the 63125 area.
