Current Programs:
CALM Program (Childhood Asthma Linkages across Missouri) – Grant provided by Missouri Foundation for Health. Our grant is called School Based Asthma Management – Stepping Beyond the Barriers. 2009-2012; Partners include St. Louis University School of Public Health and the St. Louis Regional Asthma Consortium. There are three components to the CALM Program:
- Asthma 411, a school based asthma identification and management project in all the of St Louis Public Schools. Saint Louis University School of Public Health takes the lead on this component.
- Kids with Asthma Can – a family friendly asthma education program is based on WGBH Boston’s Arthur character. WGBH has granted rights to use this program to the St Louis Regional Asthma Consortium, our key partner for this component. Other important partners for this component include HealthCare USA, American Lung Association of Eastern Missouri, and the St Louis University Theatre Department.
- PCP Liaison – With the help of Diana Phares, Phd, DNP, APRN –BC, the Institute for Family Medicine is visiting pediatricians and other primary care practices that see St Louis Public School students. The purpose of these visits is to improve the communication between the practices and school nurses.

Missouri Foundation For Health Grant – Basic Support Grant.
Daughters of Charity Foundation St. Louis Grant – Youth In Need Head Start Clinic.
Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation Grant- Supports our Vietnamese Clinic in South City.
Weyerhaeuser Company Foundation – Supports school based health center at International Welcome School, St. Louis Public Schools. 2010-2011.
