Lydia’s House

The Lydia’s House Clinic was started in 2018, and was made in partnership between IFM Community Medicine and Lydia’s House, operating on Monday morning, Tuesday morning, and Wednesday morning and afternoon. Lydia’s House is an organization that offers long term services to individuals leaving domestic violence situations. They have social work, counseling, and job placement, as well as training to help these individuals get back on their feet and regain agency. The IFM partnership was created in order to increase the holistic approach to caring for the domestic violence survivors. The clinic is full service and caters to those who do not have any other sources of medical care as they have moved away from their provider and cannot find a new one, or never had one. The clinic provides vaccinations, acute care, health education, and everything in between.
